As an east coast person, I am a bagel snob so was skeptical of this place but as Larry David says, "Pretty, pretty, pretty good."
I had a bagel party for a party of one (me) because I wanted to judge. Started with a Cinnamon bagel stick and a Powerbar stick. Powerbar made me think it was healthy by having raisins and walnuts, it is just what I tell myself so I can justify ordering 4 bagels for myself. I am glad I tried it but it wasn't my fave.
Moved on to the Asiago cheese bagel, whoa! Really great. Cheese is salty and crunchy on top and the bagel is soft so the texture is A+ for me and the bottom is baked just perfect. Also tried a salt and that was excellent too.
Asiago (and next time Cinnamon sugar bagel), I will be back for you baby! -

"Ran out" of coffee [all 4 flavors] over 40 minutes before closing and didn't have the workmanship/professionalism to make any more. I will never understand why people advertise the selling of products during a specific set time, get paid to sell those products during said time, and yet still refuse to do so. That's fraud. Unbelievable.

I needed some east coast style bagels in my life and found this gem. The bagels are amazing! My personal favorite is the jalapeño bagel with egg, ham, and cheese. I ask them to add onions and it's even better Even the coffee is incredible. The staff are kind too and it's a nice local spot to grab a quick bite.

I discovered these bagels at the Torrance Farmer's Market. Egg-free and dairy-free! Pretty much the only bagel place I knew that was safe from those allergens.
When I can't make it to the Farmer's Market, and I am in the Torrance neighborhood before 1:00pm, I go to the bagel shop to get them direct.
The shop people are always so smiley and welcoming, even when I am the only one there and making them wait on my big decision of getting half a dozen or a bakers dozen (I always get the bakers dozen, but still contemplate it). They are also patient and smiley while I choose my flavors and then have to switch out a few because, oops, I chose too many strawberry ones.
Another big reason I am loyal to this bagel shop (20 miles away from me) is that my son is also allergic to sesame seeds. At most other bagel places, the display case is speckled with sesame seeds and whenever I see that, it is a big NO and we walk out without even asking the dairy or egg question.
After years of trekking to Torrance for these bagels, I recently found out they go to other Farmer's markets. And, I can get them at the Venice Farmers Market! -

In the past I've sometimes bought a dozen different bagels from here and they were always well received at work. Last week when I was here I tried one of their bagel sandwiches for take out, the Lox Sandwich. They also had bagel sandwiches with chicken, turkey, ham, tuna, or veggies.
I chose a poppy bagel and everything on it. The bagel was lightly toasted and there was plenty of cream cheese. Most importantly the lox portion was good sized and didn't taste very salty. Very Good. The pickle spear on the side was also good.
They offer more than two dozen different bagels each day so there is plenty of choice here.
